Corning has a ceramic cook top cleaner, most hardware stores carry it. Or Home Depot. My Mom uses Bar Keepers Friend, it is the cleaner that has a baby chick on it and talks about "not scratching". something like that. Sold next to Ajax, Comet, etc. But I would look for the Corning product.

Bar Keepers Friend is the best. I bought some at Wal-Mart. It is kind of like Comet, but, non-abrasive and scent free. You just sprinkle a small amount on the surface and use a moist sponge (not too much water) and scrub like normal. It also works well on white porcelain sinks and tubs by removing rust spots and metal scratches.

Basically, the key point here is make sure you use a NON-ABRASIVE cleaner.
For every-day dirt hot soapy water and a rag will do just fine.
For more concentrated messes you may need a stronger cleaner (Simple Green works WONDERS, just make sure to rinse THOROUGHLY) but, once again the key is NO SCRATCH PADS. You do not want to completely destroy your wonderful new cook top, and abrasives will do that very quickly.

Oven purifier could do the trick! basically spray it on and wait a jiffy. then wipe it off! it works wonders! do basically no longer apply it to plastic/ fiberglass/rubber surfaces through fact this is going to devour away at them. in basic terms apply it to very no longer elementary surfaces like porcelain, glass, ceramics......... i desire ultimate answer!

If it's new, you should have an owner's manual for it (some friends of mine got one, and they got a manual with it). There should be cleaning instructions in it.
