Due to hazards with cross contamination, I would think that Wendy's would use a separate vat and oil for chicken.
Most, if not all, health codes require that chicken not be cooked with the same utensils, oils, grills, etc...as other items on the menu at restaurants.

from working at a resteraunt( not wendys) i would know that we fried the chicken and the oinion rings in the same oil, so i am guessing that wendys would do the same
