If you go to barbiecollector.com and click on doll showcase, you can find a tremendous number of Barbies, both vintage and modern, as well as the entire 2005 and 2006 lines. You can pick one that you already have a dress/costume similar to or get some fabulous ideas and hit the thrift stores and consignment shops.
