Are you really an "informed liberal"??? Both parties have their exceptions just as the population on a whole has it exceptions. Is it the norm to cover up, watch a dog or cat or any other animal after they make a mess. If all these people that call names back and forth would study a little history rather than show their ignorance you would know that no party has a lock on cover-ups or exceptions. If you do not believe this, tell me one person in power in Washington that does not have money and lots of it. Think about how did they get there in the first place. Plus think of this, most have brothers or fathers or uncles or in-other-words relatives that have paved the way there for them.

If you are truly an "informed Liberal" than you should already know that he is an exception.. But.... If you dig a little further into politics you will find this behavior is closer to the "norm" in the Democratic Party... But you already knew that , right?

I think Foley is the most honest, decent and moral Republican there is.
So that would make him the exception.

Sadly enough, I feel as though he is the norm.
"I was seventeen years old and just returned to [my home state] when Foley began to e-mail me, asking if I had ever seen my page roommates naked and how big their penises were," said the page in the 2002 class.
The former page also said Foley told him that if he happened to be in Washington, D.C., he could stay at Foley's home if he "would engage in oral sex" with Foley

i think it is the norm of the lefts agenda, just like him being in the closet about being gay he was in the closet as far as his political ambissions also..everyone knows he was star struck and loved to hang out with the liberals in hollywood..he voted constantly against party lines and the last i checked the age of consent is 16 in fla.but he still likes little boy's like billy liked his young monica masterbating for him while he came all over her dress she saved..you all keep supporting gay rights and rehabilitation for pedophiles and this is what you will get! like it or not these are the freedoms you have pushed for and we now are stuck with! you get a A for the day! congratulations!

Are you suggesting the NORM for Republicans is homosexuality and the desire to have sex with young teenage boys?
This is beyond ridiculous and I should not even have wasted my time. My apologies for doing just that.

Foley was certainly acting like a Democrat.
He is certainly a Democrat at heart.
Well, many Democrats act that way, not just Clinton.

Probably the exception. But is he any worse than all those who knew and covered it up, just to protect a congressional seat? Is control more important than underage boys' safety?

Exception or norm for what? Gay? Hypocrite? Molestation? Alcoholic? Blaming others for their problems?
