You should have all your site files contained in one folder, lets call that 'mysite'.
If in that folder you have your html document and your image file, then the filepath will read
because they're in the same folder.
But if you have a subfolder for your pictures (called 'images'), with all the image files in their then the filepath will read;
The correct filepath is vital, otherwise the browser won't be able to find the image.
Otherwise the problem could be with your browser! Check that your security settings let your site display pictures, by going to Tools - -Internet Options - Security - Trusted Sites and add your URL as a trusted site.

You may have not uploaded the pictures to the server or not put them where you told it to look (ie in a folder with the wrong name). If you used a WYSIWYG application to create your site, it may have created the code wrong. For example, Netscape Communicator is notorious for doing this. You'd have to go into your code and make sure the path is correct.

If you are in dial up perhaps it is too slow hence the box with the red 'x'. Try clicking on 'refresh' or right click on the 'x' and you should get a box that says amonst other things 'show picture' .Click on that.

i'd say that allowing the purchasers to average a non secular communicate board is like allowing the electorate to regulate themselves the position there is freedom of religion. that's only a stupid thanks to do it because there is not any absolute suitable or incorrect--there is in elementary words opinion.

Make sure you have uplaoded the files to your server and that your HTML code refers to the images on your server and not those on your hard drive .....
