They (the issues) do seem to be multiplying, and considering the ratio of Muslims to the rest in the population one gets the impression that there is a definite imbalance in reporting. However, in the light of the current world situation, and the activities of a small minority of Muslims who want things totally on their terms, I think the media has no choice but to report what is going on. Let's hope that one day soon we'll all be able to live like we did before - i.e., in a sort of neutral harmony.

Hi,

I m getting tired of all these Muslim issues. I like other religions and am really interested in all of them, but it s most of the time, when something negative is told about the islam that everyone is getting nervous. Do you see anything like this in hinduism, catholicism, etc? Ok, they are protesting as well, that s normal, but not as strong as the islam world.
It s a pitty that a minority of that community is pushing the majority down to a negative level :(

Yes and No Find it interesting that they are some what self-confident in their basic philosophy that they don't have PR agency working over night or some anti group taking to the streets like one Mideast group. Might they be the good guys, but like all groups they have heir bad apples. For being largest religion the number of bad ones seems small

The Muslim population is only 3% of the 60Million British people. The amount of coverage given to such a small minority is well out of proportion. There are more people with diseases such as Diabetes or Cancer that need the press coverage and government attention. So lets concentrate on the more important things in life than who wears a veil

Yes. The media will always blow otherwise trivial matters all out of proportion. This vail issue is no different. It only serves to alienate a section of society and give ammunition to hateful people.
