Well just because people call you Gothic doesn't mean you have to change for them. Reading over some of the answers people gave you they sound pretty bough.
if that's what you like than stick with it. You should explain to them the way you feel and why you feel that way. I wear dark eye makeup and rocker type clothes but I am certainly not Gothic. People still ask me and I still tell them no, even though this is very aggravating you'll do fine.

First off theres nothing wrong with being gothic. Second you should try not to care what people think of you. third punch them in them in the face next time someone says that. that will show them. hehe no, think of a comeback, or find something to say nice and quick to get your point across that, your not goth, and you hate being called goth.

well (black rose) i think i would stop dressing as if i were gothic...acting gothic emphasis on acting....and maybe consider adding some tye dye to your wardrobe.
