I didn't vote for him, I've voted Libertarian since the early 90's.
I see the criticisms, and when they contain the rare nugget of a concrete allegation, I give them serious consideration. Let's look at yours.
Biggest deficit in history... well, okay, maybe that's so, but whose fault is that, and what's your alternative? I'm not sure what your copy says, but in the Constitution I found online, the Budget is the responsibility of the House of Representatives. What's your alternative to a Republican Budget, something that contains Universal Health Care?
Bush may not be the best President we've ever had, but he certainly has a long way to go before being the economic disaster that Jimmy Carter was, or the do-nothing waffler that Bill Clinton was, and even if he can't get us out of Iraq this week, he certainly isn't trying to fight it to a tie like Johnson did in Vietnam. He also may not be the smartest guy that ever served as President, but he's not a raving lunatic like Al Gore was, is, and shall ever remain, and even if he makes a mistake, he reaches one decision rather than several like that indecisive John Kerry.
No, Bush is certainly not John Adams, but the Democrats have only themselves to blame for his being elected twice.
I suspect they won't learn their lesson and will run Hillary in '08.

I'm 45 years old and Bush is the greatest president of my lifetime right alongside Reagan. I couldn't be happier about the direction he's taken America and my only regret is that I can't vote for him a third time. The deficit is merely a byproduct of wartime and will be dealt with in due course. I suppose you'd have rather had a cut-and-run weakling like Kerry or Gore? You cowards are a disgrace to the flag.

Like any President, Bush has done positive things, and negative things, depending on your point of view. Personally, heres my list of pros and cons:
Pros:
Great Response to 9/11.
Drew the line in the sand telling countries if you support terror, we're coming after you. Libya changed ways as result.
Went after terrorists whereever they were.
Went after terrorists money supplies.
Invaded Afghanistan to kill terrorists.
Tax cuts to help Americans and get the economy moving again. It worked.
Low unemployment for last 2 years.
Has set of core convictions, and follows them.
Doesn't give a damn about what the polls think, because he's going to do what's right.
Cons:
Invaded Iraq. Not lied us into the war, but we invaded on mistaken intelligence.
Once in Iraq, has not run the war as well as he should of.
Too much spending! Not just on war and national security, but domestic spending too.
Senior Prescription drug benefit - the largest new entitlement in 30 years.
Has not sufficiently managed upgrading of areas of national security, like FBI, ports, etc.
Bungled Social Security Reform.
Has been way to soft on illegal immigration - which has economic, social and national security implications.

for 1. any president would have taken us into war. stuff needed to be taken care of, if not it would have been a even bigger problem in the future
2. HE doesnt make the desicions so quit blaming him. if you know anything about politics everything he does has to get passed by congress and he has a board of advisors! if its a bad decision then its not one persons fault
3. his family is amazing and him and his father are some the best presidents we have had
if you dont like it why dont you leave or something...
our country is the greatest and thier job is to protect us and they are doing their best at it.

Anyone who is happy with GW is as big a moron and imbecile as he is. If one is to believe the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, that is 39% of the population. Isn't it kind of scary to think that 39% of this country's population consists of fools and idiots?

If Democrats can take control of Congress, I hope one of their first priority will be to begin investigations into President Bush and possibly bring up Impeachment hearings for breaking the law with his Warrentless Wiretapping program and Illegal CIA Prisons.
