Oyster card? How much is it and how long are they good for?

Oyster is London’s travel smartcard. You can put your Travelcard or Bus Pass season ticket on it, add money to pay as you go or have a combination of both.card.
You have to pay a £3 refundable deposit and any cash remains valid until you use it.
