i have just found out that 80% of the english hate the french...... so why am i the only one who hates them more

The English don't really hate the french, it's all media fluff. If you hate an entire nation who have never done anything to you, you are vedry sad. Like the woman who said everyone else hates the English. Do alliances and good relations mean nothing to you? Grow up!

I have got a lot of respect for the French

good points about the French
1 Their food is good
2 Their wine is better than this new world ****
3 Their Cider is exquisite
4 They had the most powerful royal family ever, and they dispatched the lot of them and took power.
5 They try their best to stop our English culture destroying theirs.
6 They are not afraid of upsetting minorities
7 When their citizens have a grievance the police do the right thing-nothing.
8 They are socialism

1 Their kids are often undisciplined
2 They have council estates that make moss-side look like Mayfair
3 The maitre de are surly camp bastards
4 They have better conditions at work than us, less hours, more pay, earlier retirement and better pensions than us.
And as for America, the French are light years ahead them.

The English have basically been at war with the French for the last 800 years. The uneasy ceasefire that has existed between us for the last 100 years or so is a very brief period of time in the historical scheme of things.
