if I remember correctly they had me add a little milk to each bottle until the bottle was all milk. This process took several days but its so the baby can become accustom to the milk. If you just switch over it will be to rich for his stomach and he will not be able to keep it down.

We have had to follow this same procedure when changing the dogs or cats food too. I think its pretty standard when changing anyone food

He needs the fat in whole milk to develop a healthy brain, but he might be having some allergic reaction. Check with your doctor, but usually liquids are digested by our bodies much more quickly than 7-10 hours. You can try soy milk or goat milk, both are available in bigger grocery stores. You should definately call the doctor or mention it at his 1 year check-up.

It happened to my son when he was little. The way I handled it was to mix a half ounce of milk into his formula and for 16 weeks I gradually increased the amount until he was at 8 ounces of whole milk, at that point he was no longer vomiting. He is now 81/2 and loves milk.

The whole milk could be too heavy for your son. Try giving him 1% and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, either consult your doctor, or try a soy or rice based product. The fact is, we are the only mammals that consume milk products once we are weened from our mothers and it isn't a necessary intake for survival, it's just a bad habit we have learned from past generations.

He may have a milk allergy, you should consult your pediatrician. You shouldn;t give him any more until you do.You are supposed to give them whole milk,my twins turn 1 10/23 and i have been giving them whole milk for 3 weeks now and they are handling it well.Every child is different though, and there are other options like soy milk, and lactose free milk. You should ask to be sure.

Maybe he is lactose intolerent or allergic to it.

It is also possible that he is just throwing up because he is not use to drinking milk or maybe you are giving him to much.

I really would contact your childs doctor and ask them about it.

they could probable be positive, my grandmother is often protecting issues whilst they expire and she or he accidently gave my cousins, 3,5,7, and eight, thoroughly spoiled milk, like it had chunks floating in it, and by the time i found out it became spoiled (whilst the oldest got here up and asked me why his milk tasted weird and wonderful), the three year previous had already downed the glass and the 5 year previous became a million/2 way by hers. they are all thoroughly positive, they only have been given some nasty milk. worst includes worst, your youngster would desire to get food poisoning or an extremely undesirable disillusioned abdomen. so rather, its no longer something to hurry off to the medical doctors approximately, yet its something to maintain an eye fixed on, in the event that they initiate throwing up or have abdomen issues, carry them in to the medical doctors.

His body may not be ready for whole milk yet. Give it a little longer.

Have him tested for food allergies. Soy milk may be an alternative, it's expensive but it comes in flavors.
