I wouldn't even try it, and if you do, be very careful. If you don't get it set and get the pull on it perfect, you risk having the arrow explode in your face when you release it, and it is like shrapnel. I saw one go thru a guy's arm once. It blew into a dozen pieces the second he let it fly.

you're going to have to either find or make yourself a flat bar or metal. try your local hardware store for something that could be used or modified to make the piece you need.

I think that is illegal...to make or own.
