No, I have read alot of statistics on this subject and there is noone that has ever gotten married to get a free ride. Most rides are not very expensive and so people just pay for them themselves.

These days working smarter, not harder is key.

As for staying home and taking it easy and getting a free ride... well, it isn't easy for women. they have to go through a monthly cycle that isn't very nice and they endure this while doing everything else around the house too.

This is why we always give women the most respect, no matter what. They go through so much just to keep our homes for us.

dont know about males who prefer to stay at home. however a lot of females are taught that family comes first so they do want to stay at home and take care of their family. but i dont think they would ever consider it a free ride. after all they are contributing in taking care of the house, cleaning , cooking and raising kids.

Yes, I know plenty of women who wanted to get married so they could stop working and stay home and raise kids or whatever. Personally, I think that is more work than an out of the home job, but whatever!

I only know one guy that did this, and thankfully my friend packed up and left him so she only had to support their two kids. Who he was not even taking care of while he wasn't working and she was.

We got married so that we could grow old together. No free ride at our house. We both work and take care of our home and children together.

I know some people get married for the wrong reasons so that wouldn't be too far fetched. As far as I'm concerned....no free ride in my marriage as my husband and I both have jobs.

I think some people do that. I also think there are people who view stay at home spouses, like myself, as mooches when, in fact, I work very hard to support my family's needs. It's not always about money when it comes to contributing to the family.

Maybe some do, but most people probably really love each other in the beginning.
