It's in the last movement of Symphonie Fantastique, by Berlioz. The melody is a parody of the latin Dies irae (Day of Wrath) theme from medievel chant.

I really like Berlioz, but I didn't know that's what the music was. In my search, however, I did come up with the track listings of the soundtrack, by Jerry Goldstein:

1. Morning On The Beach
2. The Funeral
3. Brown Eyed Girl
4. Thanks Mom
5. Spring Cleaning
6. The Ring
7. A Brave Girl
8. Fears
9. What Did He Do
10. The Storm
11. The Carnival
12. Remember This
