the search box how do you slate it away off of the search box area. everytime i go to another search the box it shows all the previous links i went to. i want to delete those.

You can erase your history in Internet Explorer by deleting the temporary Internet files. These temporary files store the places you’ve been.

To delete your temporary Internet files: click Tools, Internet Options (OR click Start, Control Panel. In Classic view, double-click Internet Options). Select the General tab. Under ‘Temporary Internet files,’ click the 'Delete Cookies' button. Internet Explorer will prompt you to confirm this choice. Click OK.

To clear your trail of Web addresses you have visited, click the 'Clear History' button. Then click 'Yes' when you're prompted to confirm. How do I delete the drop-down list of my past searches?

You can clear your Google search history from the Google search box, the Google Toolbar, or your browser. We've included instructions for all three methods below.
