I am conservative, but try not to be jugemental.
I found out that my friend got pregnate on purpose to trap her man into marring her for stability.
My friend has been going to strip clubs with her husband & he buys her lap dances.
she has been naked in a swimming pool at a party, with her husband, her cousin, and other people. (My friend is 40) No I was not there. She has told me all of this.
My husband now thinks they might be swingers and wants me and our family ( the baby) away from this family.
He feels you are who you hang out with. My husband and I are all NOT the above. Do you believe you are who you hang out with?

I would have to agree with your husband,personally I think the same way. It's true you are your own person and you don't control what other people do or act. How ever; everything we do comes from who we are so on that note if it is your choice to remain close friends with these people than that would tined to make one think you agree with the way they are and who they are. May be this will help you see more clearly that you are the company you keep:
You are what you eat! if you eat all fattening foods you will tend to be over weight.
If your child had a friend that was a bad influence would you allow your child to hang around that person? and say well their friends and that's just who and how this other person is? would that be OK with you?
If your friends did drugs would you still be friends and want that in your life and around your child?
You see it may not be fair or even right but as humans we do judge, and other people will judge you by your peers and say Dern; may be she does drugs too! or gosh they must be swingers also.Generally people do not have in their life's what they do not like and that is a wide range of things, from food,career,car clothes,shoes,even your mate. so if these people are in your life I would say you like it and agree with it and probably do it yourself.

To a certain degree yes. We've all been told that when we were young and hang around people who do things that arn't considered right by society. I was in grade school and had a friend who got pregnant and my father forbid me to ever hang around her again. and loose girls too as the boys will think your lose. so even if your not lose you can get a reputation of being loose as men will assume. I can see why your husband is a bit worried. . How about comprimising if these are dear girlfriends of yours. go out for brunch and shopping but don't get into there nightlight life scene. if your not sure next time they call ask what there plans are. you can always make an excuse your busy but maybe another time. they'll get the hint soon enough.

Show me your company and I'll tell you who and what you are is a very true statement. People are judged by the company they keep. I would have to agree with your husband and suggest that these people do indeed sound like the party crowd and perhaps swingers. If that's not the lifestyle you want your family to associated with then tell your friend your reason and let it go.

No, I don't believe we are who we hang out with. There is some truth to "birds of a feather flock together" but in our ever-shrinking world, this is becoming less and less the case.
In my opinion, as long as your friend doesn't do these things around you and your family, what concern is it to your husband? It's her life and if she and her husband are okay with what they do on their own time, then it should be okay.

Not necessarily but there's such thing as "influence" and eventually, u will be tempted to do the same things as they do. If this is not the kind of lifestyle u and your family want, then stay away from them.

NO...I HANG OUT WITH A WHOLE GROUP OF GIRLS AND WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT IN SO MANY WAYS SOME ARE QUIET, SOME ARE LOUD, SOME ARE CONSERVATIVE, SOME ARE PROMISCUOUS...BUT THATS WHAT MAKES US ALL CLICK. JUST BECAUSE WE HANG OUT DOESNT MEAN WE ARE ALL THE SAME.

No, you are who you are, people live lives separately of their friendships. Friends are just people who you hang out with, you don't have to like anything about them but their company.
