On Wednesday I found my 11 year old sister sleeping with her 11 year old friend (who is a boy). They were under the blanket and had their arms around each other. They had all their clothes on.

I woke them up and told him to go home. But I promised I wouldn't tell mom. At first I was kinda surprised because she is very ungirly.. she doesn't like boys. And this boy is her only friend. They are both very smart. They have a lot in common and they are very close. I don't want to ruin their relationship.

But I am kinda worried that my sister might have "psychological" problems that need to be addressed. She is very much a loner and doesn't express feelings well.

I don't know.. what do you think about this?

Children can be funny like that. I really don't think there's anything to worry about. Especially if she's a loner, let her have her friend, and the affection. Maybe this is her way of expressing something that she doesn't know how.

Perhaps your sister is just comfortable with her friend, and you are looking under the bed for problems that may or may not exist. You can ask her to speak to a school councillor as any thing she tells them is confidential.. And you won't have to stir up a big problem, and possibly hurt your sister. She may even trust you more because of your loving gesture
