every time i click on something i want to view i get redirected.. its driving me crazy n i just cant get rid of them.. cheeky ba****ds! one of them is 'search.net' who the hell do they think they are! same happens if i use google.. takes me to 'search.net! help please!!!! thank you!!!

It's adware/spyware. Download Ad-aware from www.lavasoft.com and Zone Alarm from www.zonelabs.com. Both free, and will solve your problem.

This is known as a browser hijacker. By all mean, run Ad-aware and/or Spybot.
I firmly believe that when this happens to you, contact the sites (that you have been redirected to) and let them know that as long as they are paying someone to inconvenience you this way, you will never do business with them.

It sounds as if your system has been hijacked. I suggest downloading and running Spybot S&D right away to eliminate the problem. You can also look in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove any odd search programs you know you didn't install.
