Back in 1961 I saw a giant spider from over 10 miles away in Utah climing over the crest of a mountain I contacted the 75th Air Force wing I think it was and this fighter jet comes in on it and blows it up. the pilot commented it was a mormon spider.

I had a huge black hairy spider the other week run across the floor while i was laying on it, I grabbed my empty pint glass and tried to capture it. It's legs were so long they stuck out from the side. so i had to poke them in, funnny thing was the glass had convex sides so once inside it looked much smaller so i put paper underneath it and took it to the kitchen and left it there for the wife to find. One hour later huge scream, lots of expletives and one spider release to the wild again. A hoegarden Pint glass is about 5 inches across at the top. Quite big spider for UK standards

the ever biggest spider i saw was in my home, sized max. 1 inch. but like giant spider i saw ever only in movies, the biggest was in movie " SPIDERS" that was around 100 feet high.

I've seen a bird eating spider before . It was at a zoo in china.

I think any spider is small because I'm never close enough to them to guess their size. I'm usually running the opposite direction they are.

One time at band camp, I saw this spider it was so big it ate the hole band.

It was one in my room and i scared and I trashed my room. then i called my brother to kill it and he said give him a dollar, and i said hell no. Then he came to kill it and said is that real i said hell yeah. Then he killed it.
