Just be honest with them and tell them that all you want is a friendship. If they overstep those bounds let them know.

Just tell them exactly that..don't lead them on or you won't have a friend at all.

youre supposed to say " i like emailing you, youre a real good friend. " they should get the point! if they dont then say " for reals, youre a real good "FRIEND". and if they still dont get the point then say " hey gotta go i have a date tonight!"
