Do you think its ok to stop work for some years. My wife like to work and her income is enough for pay everything.
Before - in a period of 12 years, it was me working and her staying home, so don't you think its fair that its my time now.

ok, its also because I hate to work, so if its ok with my wife, - then why not take some years. In Denmark - its no problems to get a job, they even import people from other countries to help feed the market.

Are you doing it to get back at her or because there is a legitimate reason to stay home? My mother stayed home for 20 years and when she began working again it was because she wanted to help with the household expenses. My dad never treated her as if it was unfair that she got to stay at home and he had to work. That was just life at the time. Stay at home if there is a reason, but if your going to sit around like a lazy bum and do nothing, just because you felt that that is what she did, then you have another thing coming. Personally, I feel that when a guy doesn't have a job...I mean at least taking care of the kids or something...then he is not being much of a man.

well to me its ok to stop working because i have had a lot of jobs and i stop a lot because they are noy fun or interesting. Maybe if the employer should have some excit ing things to do and people would stay at the job. I think the job im at now im will not be there for long it boring and the managers dont do anything and let everyone do their job and i dont think thats fair.

If you have a job, keep it. There are a lot of people wihtout jobs and struggling to get one. Don't ruin a good thing because if you quit your job and your wife gets laid off, where would you be then? Struggling. Its hard to get a job and when you get one, you keep it! Just put the extra money aside for fun things the two of you can do like travel or buy a big screen TV.

Do it. Not many people have that opportunity. Life is not about work. We work to support our life, and if you have a chance to go do some of the things you don't normally have the means for, then do it! One warning, people who don't have jobs can sometimes get themselves in a rut. They get depressed and lazy and feel worthless. Guard yourself against that and make a plan of the things you want to do! You only live life once, do what you think you'll regret less.
Best of luck!

Take a break from your job and go on a vacation. If you hate your job that much, find something that will make you happy and that wont be considered work to you. You should not have a job you hate.

Looks bad on a resume when you want to go back to work, pretend to do a little something, get a title, financial planner, etc.

What does it matter what we think? It's a free country and it's your life. Whatever you and your wife decide is fine.
