A friend of mine stumbled onto the Fox News Network and now he's ranting incoherently. How do I perform an Exorcism to drive the Fox Demons out?

It's a long process because it is an addiction, just like crack cocaine. You have to let your friend watch Fox News until he or she reaches bottom and cries out for help -- only then can you safely intervene. No matter how good are your intentions, to try to break the addiction prematurely is an exercise in futility and your efforts will be wasted.

You need trained professionals to help in this recovery effort. And your friend will need support because it is easy to relapse. You might have to take drastic action and disable the cable or satellite connection. Perhaps you can contact the cable provider to block the Fox channel, and replace it with a PBS station.

Good luck - you are a good friend to show such care.

If your friend was not immunized with logic before the exposure, and the exposure lasted more than 20 minutes radical treatment may be indicated.
If the exposure was recent and of short duration, induce vomiting.
Administer 100mg of the truth twice a day for two weeks. Keep the patient comfortable in loose-fitting clothing. Should the incoherent ranting persist call 911.
Most infections come through the television, though more and more patients seem to be exposed through close contact with radios and computer. Call a licensed professional to have these devices checked for leakage.
Wash your hands frequently.

Tie him in a chair in front of a TV tuned to Keith Oberman. You might also try a little Ed Schultz on the radio but be careful! You might accidentally tune into O'Reilly which could awaken the demons.

Sit down, watch an airing with him and take notes to look up facts on net later. Watch an episode of O'reilly--if that's what it takes. I know it will be mortifying, but you gotta save your bud!!Print a copy of the answers you get here and show him. Inform him about the nature of neo-con spin, who owns Fox and the majority of media outlets, and if that doesn't work. Tell him how ignorant it is to trust one source of biased media as his intellectual reasoning for what makes the world go round. Good luck!!

I guess you need to do the same thing that happens to all people before they become liberals. Keep kicking him in the head until he sees the world the way you do.

No one with a functioning brain could possibly think the way liberals do.

Give it up.
You can't drive out the truth. Truth is what you get from Fox News.
(No commie propaganda on Fox.)
