Yes i think if you have money already and your going to get married you want to cover yourself for all the hard years it took for you to earn it. Not that you want a divorce but lets face it now a days there a dime a dozen. However anything you make after that should be for both of you as she is with you making it.

but what you bring into the marriage that is your own. You should be able to have that as a safety net incase she uses you only for the money she knows you have. im not saying all women will do this. but have read lots on here and there are lots of gold diggers or women looking for a easy way out in life.

You have to cover your butt.

Personally, I don't care for prenuptial agreements. I think that if you're mature enough to make an adult decision to enter a marriage then you can certainly be mature enough to exit as well. Marriage is based on love, trust, commitment, loyalty, communication, respect and comprise and if you feel you need a piece of paper to protect yourself then you truly don't have a bonded sacred marriage otherwise there would be no need for security. Me and my Husband have this arrangement that if either of us were to cheat or hurt each other physically and our Son then either me or him (which ever cheated) would walk away with the clothes on our back and nothing more. Why should he lose his properties that he worked very hard for when it was me that chose to break those vows and vise versa. Just a thought. Good luck!!!=)

If you're under 30, you probably don't have a huge amount of assets, it's probably your first marriage, and your fiance is probably overly idealistic about what being married is like. A pre-nup will probably do more harm than good.

The fewer of those factors apply in your case, the more likely that a pre-nup is a good idea.

Why not right?
I mean, if you love someone enough to commit your entire life to them. Then why not sign a peice of paper, that says you won't financially ruin them?

Maybe Im speaking harshly, but it would seem that only a goldigger would have an objection to signing a paper asking for her to be trustworthy.

You need to be asking yourself if you love her, trust her and are willing to take that marriage step.
Then, does she love you.
Personally if a man told me anything about a prenup I'd be thinking he's gonna take over my life while I'm young and then leave me when it suits him without any consequences.
Not happenin'. I'd kick his ***. Be Careful. If you dont trust her. Don't get married.

You have ever right in the world to have her sign a prenup but make sure your fair to her too because she is going to share your life with you also

I don't see anything wrong with it. You're protecting yourself. But you have to make sure it's a fair agreement for both parties. And make sure you approach her in a good way. Don't freak her out with a prenup conversation.

There is no way I would sing a pernup. If the man I were marrying didn't trust that I would not "screw him" over, then he doesn't know me well enough for me to marry him. If you don't trust her then don't marry her.

If there's lack of trust already.
Ask yourself why?
Is it her?
Is it your baggage?
You're not ready to marry someone if u don't trust them.
When u r ready...u will want to give her everything just for her love.
