I would like to help poor kids grow as much as possible. I want to help kids, not an organization. Ideally I want to become part of kid's life.

They are all around you. You may feed them, cloth them and take care of their education. instead of beginning in a big way, better to start with one or two, and make it sure that you won't give up half way.
Don't donate your hard earned rupees to any organisation- if you don't know exactly their modus oparandi.

Why don't you look into being a foster parent? Maybe help out the poor kids in America. I've looked at their pictures and read their sad stories, I just don't have the means:(

Why don't you check out this organization on Google.com, and then make your choice?
It is one of the BEST organizations that does wonderful with kids! You may also hear directly from the kids you choose to interact with!

Kindly contact Ms.Sasi, a Student who is involving social works in a orphanage nearer to chennai at +91 98402 61002. She spent two days a week in that orphanage with lovable childern. She can guide you in this regard.

asha.org---The organization works to literally provide for the children. Also, Vidya.org---works to provide basic education for children in India.
You can either sponsor a child or you can be a foster/adoptive parent.

come onnn..... dont be silly!!!!! no organisations in india r good. they just take more than half of your money and never help the poor. if u really want to help the poor, u have to do it urself.
