Before you go, get an idea as to what you want to sell the rings for. Check to see what the value is. More than likely you will only get half of the retail price. Walk in there with your poker face. Walk up to the counter and put both rings on the table. The first thing that they will ask you is whether you want to sell or pawn. After that they will ask you how much money you were looking to get from those rings. Do not allow them to set the price until you have made your best offer so you best go in there with a price in mind. Either they will accept your offer or deny it. There might be some bartering and negotiation and if the price is too low, take it to another pawn shop or take it to several shops so that you can get an average idea as to what the market will bear. The worst thing that you can do in the negotiation process is to get emotional. If you express that the rings have sentimental value, that will greatly affect the price.

You walk in to the shop. You say "I want to sell these 2 rings, what will you offer?".

The counter assistant will say a price.

You go to a similar shop and repeat the process.

You sell to the one that gives you the best price. That is probably a good price. To be more certain try more shops.

walk in and say that you want to sell the rings and you will NOT get a good price.

I have done this several times. In my experience its not a great way of making money. You are usually quoted a price 2 to 5% of what you paid retail.

No, they are going to rip you off. Whatever IT is, sell it on Ebay.
