They should make the playoffs if goaltending holds up

Demitra is a nice addition to the Wild. Not likely to be an offensive powerhouse. The beat the lowly Avs last night 3-2 in OT and at home... Hardly a statement to start the year. I see them making the playoffs and possibly the second round. The Anaheim Ducks are my pick to win the Stanley Cup.

They're not going to be the offensive powerhouse of the league, but playoffs probably. They'll go as far as Fernandez takes them. Goaltending is the most important factor in the playoffs.

Playoffs? We're talking Playoffs?...Goaltending will be the decider, if the big guns can stay healthy.
Gaborik and Demitra (when healthy) should be lethal together....very exciting for Wild fans.

Playoffs? Yes.

Offensive powerhouse? Probably not.

I think they'll finish 6th in the West and make it to the second round of the playoffs.

well... I am a huge av fan, an i can rarely say anything good about the wild. but i was watching the game last night and i was impressed! they were all over the place. i think they might be really good, its a little too early to tell though, anything can happen. but even if they stay healthy, can fernandez hold them in the playoffs?

They looked good. Great coach. The west is tough though. They could make a run or lose first round. Gaborik is going to be awesome this year.
