I'll let you all in on a secret some of you may already know.

http://www.videoeta.com lists DVD release dates for movies even ones that are showing in theaters now. I used them when i was a manager at a Blockbuster years ago for the inevitable kid calling on a Friday night asking when the horror movie that was showing now at the theater that wouldn't let them in to a R film was coming out on DVD.

11/14/06 in a 2 disc special edition on blu-ray in December.

Both the special edition and the giftset will be out November 14th. The special edition has an MSRP of $29.96 while the giftset's MSRP is $80.95. Basically the only difference between the special edition and the giftset is the giftset will include a reproduction of Robert Langdon's Journal and a working replica of the Cryptex.

a good rule of thumb for most movies coming out on DVD is six months after they premier in theaters.

example: if a movie comes out in theaters in june, the DVD will come out in december
