I will be driving from seattle wa to topeka ks at the end of this month. does anyone have any site seeing suggestions along the way? I am in no hurry to get there

I drove to Seattle a few years ago from Michigan and took I-80 across. I stopped in Salt Lake City and Denver - both are beautiful cities. In Salt Lake, make sure you visit Antelope Island, it is gorgeous. As for Topeka, make sure you have a great big steak while you're there...the beef in Kansas is awesome!

Mount Rushmore
the Badlands
Yellowstone National Park
Salt Lake City

I'd suggest taking a detour through Arizona and New Mexico - those states are lovely.You could also use that as an excuse to buzz through Vegas for a day or two ;)

The direct route - Boise, Salt Lake City, Cheyenne, Denver - looks pretty interesting to me. There will be some nice mountain scenery if you like that.

Go through Helena, Montana and visit the Cathedral.

ye syou can go to mapquest.com and type your depature adress and you arivale address and at the bottom you will find all of the site seeing stop there good luck
