Depends on the crime and which family member.... but most likely I wouldn't say anything my family is pretty cool, if one of them committed a crime I'm sure they'd have a good reason for it!

If the crime had not yet been reported, then I would turn them in. Covering up for someone else's wrongs never helps them , it deters them from ever doing the right thing. If they have already been caught, then I would just be there for them as support.

You need to speak to an attorney... You do not need to be apart of the problem... You need legal advice... "Terrible " could mean alot of things given your characterization of the crime I would say ... drop a dime.

Been there, done that. We (my family) were all in on turning my cousin in after he lit a car on fire and was in the process of making a pipe bomb. He got 4 yrs.- the maximum.
He's doing much better now and we all get along-- thank God!!!

Have a great day!!!

I wish you had mentioned what exactly it is, that they did.
More importantly, how did you find out? You could be wrong about this.
As for your question... I probably would not do anything, unless the crime was murder, then I'd call the authorities.

It depends on the crime. But you need to know what "Accessory after the fact" means.

Depends on how you define "terrible crime."

Child molestation? REPORT IT, maybe even implement justice myself.

Killed a rapist? Laugh and congratulate him/her.
