Hi, I'm a DJ/Turntablist and l love rap & hip hop. I would like to start adding some rhymes to my songs but I'm from mexico and rap culture here is more reggaeton-oriented (which I really don't like that much). Additionaly, rapping in spanish is not that cool either (in my humble opinion, it just doesn't sound right). Where can I start??

Practice, practice, practice. Take your favorite breakbeat, loop it, play it in your headphones and start flowing. Carry a notebook around and write down any lyrics that pop into your head (you will forget them otherwise). Decide what kind of delivery you want to call your own and practice, practice, practice. That's all you really can do.
