You can boil water & let it cool down,or use the baby drinking water & warm up on the stove. When using powder it is better for it to be a little warm when u mix it.It dissolves better. You can let it cool down b-4 giving it to baby.I made the mistake of the water not being warm enough & my son could'nt get it down & was'nt satisfied,my doctor informed me that the water should be warm.

You should be using bottled water or tap water that has been boiled for I believe at least 5 min. Where I live, there is a specific label on bottled water indicating if it can be given to babies as not all bottled water is OK.

That is a good question... I am wondering what would be better too because my baby is due in a month and I need too know. I would think that it should be boiled water but I would use the water from the bottle. Not ordinary water, I would not even use brita water because I do not want my baby to get any type of pollution...

I have always boiled the tap water for 5 mins. when you are going to be storing the bottles for any time in the fridge. But, if I am going to use the bottle right away I will use bottled water.

Yes. Bottled water is probably better then the regular tap water. That's what I use for my son. Make sure that the bottled water doesn't have any preservatives in it. Also, stay away from the the water they sell just for baby's, because it has fluoride in it. Fluoride is dangerous. Do a google search on the dangers of fluoride.

We used bottled water called Nursery Water.

My wife and I used nursery water, but then we started using tap. All the "stuff" our daughter needed was in the formula, not the water.

We filter the tap water through a Britta filter. It's much cheaper than buying a gallon of water every few days.

My daughter never noticed the difference. And she's still healthy.

In the baby isle they sell water that you can use for formula. We used to always buy that. It's called Nursery and it's specifically for that. You can also just boil some at home. Just boil it and then let it cool down of course. But you should never use tap water and I'm not really sure about purified water but I would assume that it would be ok. But personally never used it!

I used running water form the tap... That was 2 1/2 years ago. I do breast milk with my 2 month old now. Any kind of water is fine including tap water.

I used regular city tap water, put it in a covered pan and brought it to a boil, then took the cover off and let it continue to boil for 10 minutes. Then poured it into the bottles.
