So they forecasted a nearly $300 billion deficit, but it turns out it's only $250 billion, so I guess it's a valid strategy?
If I'm broke, and I'm late on a Visa bill for $500, and I find it and it's only for $300, is that really a good thing? I'm still broke and I still owe money I don't have.

So what? It's $10 billion & that's below the $16 billion it was estimate to be but bloated to $250 billion overall. Big deal! We're still piling up so much debt our grandchildren's grandchildren will not be able to pay for this @$$hole's policies. I say impeach him as a war criminal & a traitor to our country & constitituion. W sux major @ss.

Your news item is clear evidence that things REALLY ARE IMPROVING. Put that with low unemployment (only about 4.7%) and a record high Dow Industrial Average, and I'd say things are pretty darn good, for anyone who wants to work for a living and has qualified himself for anything more than mopping floors or picking up garbage. And even those people, if they want to, can improve their lives by going back to school at moderate cost.
