Why are you harping on the liberals when it is a republican congress and president that have been widdling away at you constitutional rights?
You need to look up the definition of the word excessive. It means more than is necessary. The guy in the New York Subway did more than was necessary to protect himself. He shot someone a second time who was already on the ground and not a threat to him. You have the right to defend yourself if someone breaks into your house. If he leaves, you don't have the right to follow him and put one in his back.

Wow, that was remarkably illiterate, on a site that is not known for its impeccable grammar and spelling!

Your argument is spurious. It is not because "leberials" are asking for too much freedom that the feds can come into your house without a warrant and sniff your panties. You seriously need to read some history.

Too much freedom! Ha! That's just what they want you to think!

you're sadly misinformed, a search warrant is still required before a search can be carried out. but now it can be obtained from a court that won't publicize that fact. it works against the Mafia too

I think there is a line between ok and excessive. But if you don't have morals then that line is further along then others.
