If skinny was so hot, then why do most men love curvy women? Not fat, but toned and curvy like J-Lo?

Alot of women I know want to be so skinny, it is pathetic! I don't see the beauty in a skinny, shapeless body, so why would any woman want to look like a damn stick? I would never want to look like that.

I agree with you, I'm not sure why so many girls want to look like sticks when so many guys are after the curvy-toned girls...it's a mystery, it just goes to show that women are constantly trying to perfect themselves in fear that a man might say something negative about her appearance...I don't get it, love yourself that's what matters!

This question can only be answered by another question; why are men hypocrites? Let me explain.

Beyond a doubt, women are in fear of what men think of them. There are more single women out in the world then there are single men. So, the battle to gain a boyfriend is a tough one. So logically for females, we try our best to be the best looking one out there. That is the only way to gain the attention of most men. Once we have a man hooked onto our looks, we then dazzle them with our personality.

Here is where my ‘answer’ to your question comes in. Men want curvy beauties. No doubt! If a girl has a back-side and a lovely front-side then she has got it all, right? Well sadly, men can be jerks and hypocrites at times.

To have curvy body you do need to have some fat. Thus why those thin little sticks have nothing to their figure. So when a man sees one of these curvy beauties, they see that they also have some fat. True, they have an awesome body. But sometimes men don’t see like that. (Personal experience talking here…at least 30 of my girl friends faced this too)

The men will call them fat. No, really! This happened to me. Here I have this awesome body, a little tummy, but killer curves. And he called me fat. Why? Because I had a bit of a tummy. It was NOT A FAT TUMMY! It was flat, just not as flat as those sticks. So naturally, he thought I was fat.

Men want natural curves that are formed by ones bone structure. If it’s not like that, then they think of them as fat. I can’t even count how many times I have witnessed this. Of course I am not saying every man is like this, but there are a lot of men out there that are.

Men are obsessed with the thought of a tiny woman. They want the cures and none of the fat. So really, men are driving the women to starve themselves and be a stick. Not only men are doing this, but the media and society's trends are too. The smaller you are now-a-days they ‘prettier’ you are.

Sad I know.

Designers control the fashion industry. If we are constantly bombarded by thin women in magazines, on tv and on runways, we are persuaded that we need to look like that. No one wants to stick out as different, so we conform. And since the camera adds weight, they want to keep themselves as thin as possible. And who knows? Maybe is just cheaper to design for thinner women than curvier women- they can save on material.

Personally, I feel that a little flesh is good for us. I've been anywhere from a size 6 to a size 16. I look best at a size 10/12.

i am naturally skinny and as much as i would love to get curves I WILL NEVER HAVE... so some of us are skinny but not because we want to... and still guys consider me very sexy because i am very confident about my shape.
