He isn't really into gadgets at all, and he hates sweets. I don't want to get him something mundane because it is our anniversary. We are going to the symphany and then to a nice restaurant. Any ideas?

The symphany is a good start!!! so is the dinner!!!! just keep adding to the evening!!!

get a room at some upscale but..do your homework!!! get a hotel that has like a honeymoon suite or someting that has like a hottub in the room.. then get there a few hours before you head out for the evening and prep!!!!!

have various assorted sexy outfits in the closet.. have the bed turned down... ... do a nice slow strip tease for him when you get there after the sympany and dinner and have your first round of "fun"... then take a dip into the hottub for a bit.. have some more "fun" in there... then get out and change into a different out fit and have more "fun"... order up dessert (some strawberrrys and chocolate) have it delivered... answer the door in your next outfit (don't cover up for the hotel staff) then invite him to have desert off your body...... I'm sure you will find a couple more sessions of fun before the sun comes up.... wake up before him.. shower.. put on your next outfit and give him a nice wakup by climbing on top and riding him... then order breakfast while jumping into the shower with him.. then enjoy the nice breakfast together and recount the night before

If you really want to spice it up.. set up a camcorder on a trypod to capture all the moments!

enjoy the night!!!! he will remember it always and look forward to next year!

I got my husband a topiary tree. He's really into gardening, he can make any plant live, and I can't! :)

By now you probably know his interests, work with that. For Christmas he said NO ELECTRONICS, but I still got him a wireless mouse which he *loves*. But he made me promise not to buy him clothes. He picks those on his own. He collects eagle statues, he has his favorite teams, so there's a ton of stuff to get.

Since you are going out to a special place, the symphony, buy him a new tie. It will always be a special tie....the one you bought him and that he wore on your first anniversary date.....really, the first anniversary gift is to be paper. Give him a box of tissue along with the beautiful tie you pick out for him.

A nice leather jacket if he doesn't already have one. A personalized gift that's been engraved with a special message (like a pen or a watch).

Get him a girlfriend. He probably doesn't have one of those. There are several different kinds to choose from, so make sure you get one that is well-trained and playful. You can get him one to keep or you can just rent one for the night. If it's one for keeps make sure you get a good warranty so that you can return it for a refund if it's defective. And make sure it's wrapped nicely; presentation is always important. I wonder what he'll get you!
