Jason Statham Movies?

Question

Am I the onlye one who thinks that Jason Statham movies tend to not only stretch but break my suspension of disbelief? He would make a good action star but Transporter 2 and Crank were awful.

Jason Statham's best two films are without a doubt "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels".

In "Snatch" he's a boxing promoter in over his head with a London gangster but Brad Pitt in the form of an Irish gypsy bare knuckle boxing champ may be his odd way out. Lots of bizarre characters with intertwining fates involving a stolen doube digit carat diamond and a dog.

In "Lock,Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" he's a conman trying to keep him and his friends from getting iced by a London gangster by stealing money from other gangsters to pay off their gambling debt.

Both these films are must sees if not just for the brilliant one liners and sarcasm alone. You'll be quoting them for years to come.

The scene in Snatch where Tyrone can't get out of the car because he's so fat and one of my favorite actors out of the UK right now Robbie Gee's character Vincent says..

"I thought you said he was a getaway driver.....what the **** can he get away from?"

I've not seen those two but I liked him "The Italian Job" and "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels."

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels starts off kind of slowly but has a pretty cool last 1/2 hour.
