What ever the media are trying to claim at the moment ... Been like that forever from the inseption of civilisation.
What ever your country needs at the time... Say your at war and are in need of soldiers... The media whether it be paper, radio, tv, Elders talking or tribal speeches will start talking about the morals of everyone being good soldiers. But those in control wont have to go to war just the Proles and Middle class.
Same goes with needing kids, Business for money, artists and sportsmen for entertainment and diversion.

The American Dream as you may have envisioned it is long dead. The days of making a solid living as a small business & building it into a large business thereby creating wealth & security for you & your family, were choked to death by the greed of capitalistic hogs who helped destroy our anti-monoploy laws and embraced global outsourcing. These corporations forgot they were responsible for helping the people of this nation make lives (and not just for the corpoartions) while building their companies for them. Furthermore, our politicians sold us out to every highest bidder they could find on the globe. The middle class is being slowly eroded into nothingness while our politicians argue over empty issues like gay marraige & flag burning at the same time as our so-called president re-writes international & American law, ignores our Bill of Rights and human dignity, & defies the Constitution of the United States of America.

God save us all when we're dependiing on GW Bush to save the world.

We are SO screwed.
