Do you think A-Rod should be the one to blame for yesterdays loss to the Tigers? I don't think it was A-Rod's falt that we lost the game. I think that because ever player on this team left runers in scoring position. The hole team did not play well at all. Derek Jeter made a throwing error in the game and a run scored after that error.

As everyone knows i am not a huge fan of the yankees, so I am not sure I can answer thios question objectively.

But no, it was not a-rod's fault. Although it was a huge turning point. If he had gotten a basehit in the 1st with bases loaded, that would have given The Yankees a huge lift, and they probably would have won the game.

However, when Damon smacked that 3 run Blast and gave them the lead, I thought it was over.

But The Tigers fought back and clawed and scratched thier way into a win. Of course it helped that Verlander & Zumaya were both focused on on top of thier game.

It's not over, a best of 5 series can go either way now with it being tied. HUGE win for Detroit, though. Otherwise they are done.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens tonight.

No not A-Rods fault. Anyone could have won the game and noone got it done. That's baseball, you can only win 70% of the time on a great team.

The Yankee's have a crazy lineup, its going to be fun to watch them score like mad.

Having already said it wasnt his fault, i will say that A-Rod hasnt stepped up yet, and hopefully he will.

After the Yankees received swept by means of the Red Sox, I did not consider they deserved the proper to enter an over-hyped sequence with the Mets and weigh down them. But, 2 wins is 2 wins, so we will take them. Besides, the sequence wasn't rather the identical besides, with Beltran, Reyes, and Delgado out of the lineup for the Mets. Regardless, they might were prime scoring video games with the excellent lineup in baseball (Yankees) towards an ok Mets lineup.

Left too many men on base. A-Rod was just part of it. If game was played Wed. night I think Yankees would have won. The atmosphere was much more intense Wed. Night.

No on hit with RISP, bottom line...they had like 10 baserunners in the first 4 innings and couldnt capitalize.....you just cant wait for big HR's and with pudge behind the plate, you cant steal....so it will take big 2 out hits to score runs and they got none of those yesterday

No one should expect the Yankees to win every game.
The Tigers simply played better.
Yankee fans are fortunate that they have a team that wins so much.

No, I don't think A-Rod should be blamed, but since he makes the most money, he's an easy target.

Baseball is a "Team" sport. No one player lost the game yesterday, they all played like crap.

Yes. Remember when the bases were loaded. If he made contact, he could've brought in the tying or the go-ahead run.
