120 mph. It was on a straight country back road. I'm not sure if the bike would have gone faster since I chickened out and let off on the throttle.

I once held my old Honda CX500 Custom at redline (110 MPH) for about 10 minutes, with no windscreen... It felt SO FAST... I was hanging on for dear life. I was afraid I would blow off. I was afraid it would break. It sounded like it would break.
Now I've got a big Beemer and 110 is just no fuss at all.
It's still too fast though. Thanks for listening I feel better.

The speedo was sitting around 145mph, but the "ticks" are pretty close together so it was hard to tell exactly.
There's not a lot of places that are safe enough to open it up like that around here.

i topped my 2004 zx-10r out on the PA turnpike at around 188 thats all she had. Its all but stock so I expect thats as fast as it could go. I had my 01 g1k at about 180 I think it had alittle left though that was modified though.

Fast enough to to tell myself "Too fast!".
I wasn't looking at the speedo because I was concentrating on the road.
I've also told myself the same thing at 65mph in a 65mph zone, the bike didn't like the curve at that speed.
No, it wasn't the Harley. It takes that one at 70. Easily.
