Camden lock market ,on the LEFT hand side of the road as you walk away from Camden Town Underground is simply excellent and the food there is weird and wonderfull.

If thats not your scene, try the Natural History Museum, the national portrait gallery or the aquarium.... All excellent too ! Arrive early.

If I was forced to eat in London (god the prices !!) I'd look around Soho for a good chinese (go to the ones with chinese people eating in them).

There's a great place on the Corner right near 10 Downing St. - it's a beautiful cafe with outdoor seating and a great view. I'm sorry I don't remember the name, but you can't miss it (if you're facing 10 Downing, it's on the opposite side of the street at the left end of the block.)
