We're ALL sick of "Am I pregnant" posts. In order to stop them, let's just stop ANSWERING them. Anyone with two brain cells knows that no one on yahoo answers is going to be able to magically determine whether or not someone is pregnant. So I propose that in order to end, or at least cut down on the stupid questions, we stop encouraging them. Whaddaya think?

So true. Don't these women know that they can look up their "symptoms" on the internet to see if it is possible that they could be pregnant or that the only way to actually find out is to take a pregnancy test after they've missed a period.
However, some women may just need a shove in the right direction to convince them to go ahead a buy the test.

You know I always thought that people were so mean for answering the "am i pregnant" with sarcastic answers. BUT that was before I realized that there are probably 5 or 10 every second! I think a lot of them are young girls and they just want some sort of push in one direction or another. I asked a "could...(some symptom i was having) be pregnancy question because I honestly did not know for sure. People told me it was very possible and I took a test that night. ANd sure enough here I am 12 weeks. :-) Anyways to answer your question though, I am behind you, I stopped answering them awhile ago but it will never stop! I wish we could post a NOTE: at the top of the screen after you click pregnancy saying "ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY MIGHT BE PREGNANT GET OFF THE COMPUTER AND TAKE A TEST. HAVE A NICE DAY :-) ha ha. I'm with ya though!

When did you start speaking for everyone here? Correction dear YOU are sick of the "Am I pregnant" post, not everyone else, stop trying to act as if you speak for everyone because the fact is you do not and trying to say you do makes you look ignorant.
You can not sit here and demand people to stop answering questions, maybe you are to uneducated to know this but this site is for HELP....
If you do not like the questions asked then ignore them, THAT SIMPLE! Do not sit here and demand people to stop asnwering them, you act as if someone is holding a gun toyour head forcing you to answer the darn questions...If you do not like the questions asked then ignore them or go to a diffrent help section.

Yes, there are many stupid, repetitive questions like "I like this boy at school, should I talk to him?" or "My best friend has been acting strange lately, is she mad at me?" or "Can you get AIDS/pregnant/STDs from having sex one time?"......the list goes on. And many are so full of bad grammar, misspellings, and nonsensical words you can't even tell if it's a question. All very annoying but impossible to avoid. You're at the mercy of every moron with a computer. Either ignore them or give 'em dumb answers and get your two points.

Some women really don't know and sometimes the opinion of others helps. But just don't answer them if they bother you so much. That's certainly your right. Or if you're just compelled for some reason to do so then just say "take a test." That's what I always tell them.

Every question is valid. It's not the fault of these poor young girls that their schools aren't providing proper sex education. If you want people to stop asking these kinds of questions (which you seem to know so much about), why don't you go out and volunteer your time in a local inner city middle school, and teach these kids how to avoid getting pregnant?

I agree that there are alot of repetitive, virtually unanswerable questions on here. I too have become annoyed but if I find myself in that mood I just back out and don't answer it. I completely understand your frustration but I have learned that there are people on here willing to answer the same questions over and over again and bless them. Then I don't have to do it!

People will answer for the 2 points. Maybe to some of the askers, they do not think of it as a stupid question. I will not be their judge.

I think that's a great idea.
People who are dumb enough to ask pregnancy question via internet have far worse things to worry about in my opinion.
