The US has one of the most stable and vibrant economic and political system in the world. Taxation is also one of the lowest. Therefore, the environment for business is good. In general, real estate run an 8 to 10 tear cycle here. We currently at the the tail end of a boon cycle in residential estate and are expecting a bit of low down. How severe depends on the government's Fiscal and Monetary policy regarding interest rates. However, commercial real estate is expected to gain additional momentum.

I am not sure what you mean by help from local suppliers. There are plenty of building supplies in most communities in the US. However, if you have not done this before in the US, I suggest you contract your construction part to a licensed general contractor who understands the local zoning laws and building codes.

america is a good place to start property development....and yes there are mateial suppliers to help you....i think you have a good chance of succeeding if you are good at what you do...
