Hey Say-Love,

A Sense of Security is the resonable expectation that a person would not be attacked, robbed, or invaded in some other fashion. That Sense changes when you apply it to a business, but it just gets to be a set of resonable prudent steps, to avoid problems.

If you apply that to a large Geography, say, the US and Homeland defense, they set what feels secure in their color code.

The bottom line is how you feel about the risk of your Security being violated. Here are some web sites that are a little better at explaining.

Sense of security is the state when somebody feels confident, safe, protected. Sense of security brings about a sense of confidence. That the person is validated of his importance. And he's sure of what his purpose and goals are in life. .

It might involve system which does exactly what we want it to do and nothing that we don't want it to do even when someone else tries to make it behave differently. A sense of security is derived if there is a quarantee that this would work.

It is very often true that people's perception of security is not directly related to actual security. For example, a fear of flying is much more common than a fear of driving; however, driving is generally a much more dangerous form of transport.

Sense of security in feeling of contentment and reassurance that your basic needs are met. Shelter, clothes, food, companionship of friends and family, and any activities of daily living. That a promise will be kept. That even if today's outlook is bleak, there's always tomorrow's hope.

I'll quote W.C. Fields:
Income 100 pounds, expenses 99 pounds = happiness
Income 100 pounds, expenses 101 pounds = disaster.

In other words, live within your means for a sense of security (financial anyways)

A sense of security, in practical terms, is an illusion.
This side of the grave, there can be no security.
Call no one "secure" (or happy) until he/she is dead.

To "me," a sense of security is when I feel good about myself, know the direction I'm going in, "in life" is right, knowing I don't hurt anyone purposely, and don't "have" to have someone always in my life for "me" to love "me."
Okay? Hope you understood that, because I'm going to look up what I just said, in the dictionary! hahaha! just kidding. have a nice day

Security would be knowing there's a place to live, eat, work, learn, play, & love without fear of loosing it all (or by actually loosing it) by some unseen circumstance.

The feeling that comes from having enough money to eat, having a decent place to stay, a job that you're not going to lose at any moment, and people that are consistently there for you.

i have were given my beliefs, i have were given my reviews. in case you don't like them, or the actual shown reality that I easily have them contained in the first position, bypass ahead and kiss my *** and flow to Russia with all the different communists. As for demise for my beliefs, it relies upon on how important it really is. would I die for my faith and different center values? certain. would I die for the petty little information and disputes? No way in hell. Being ashamed of your beliefs or denying others their beliefs are both opposite to a good Democracy.
