This question which you ask is entirely up to the individual, I believe since you are asking the question, then you should eat at both and decide for yourself, whom am I to tell you which you prefer better than the other.
The choice is yours.
Although personally if I want the food to slide down I eat McDonald's because there food is Greasy
For taste I eat Wendy's

According to the source listed below sometimes McDonalds has higher fat food and sometimes Wendy's.
Personally I prefer not eating at fast food restaurants. However, when push comes to shove I prefer Wendy's.
Why?
1) Whenever I have been served cold or warm fries I have had an easier and more pleasant reaction to getting fresh fries at Wendy's.
2) The Burgers seem fresher/meatier to me. Maybe that is why they have more fat?
3) I like their 99cent menu (do they still have that?, sorry I moved to Shanghai, China, no Wendy's here).
But remember, if you do eat at a fast food restaurant remember these things.
1) Don't eat after 7pm (the later you eat the better chance of you gaining weight, and with fast food contents being high in fat, you don't want to risk it)
2) Don't eat there often! More fat calories!
3) The vitamins and minerals are not there, take vitamins.
