G'day CB,

Thanks for the question.

Both were very talented men and it is a shame that they both died far too young.

Having said that, 2Pac would be my choice. He is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling rap/hip-hop artist ever, having sold over 73 million albums worldwide, including over 44.5 million sales in the United States alone. His Greatest Hits and All Eyez on Me have both sold 9 million albums in the US while Life After Death by Notorious BIG has sold 10 million.

Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up around violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, and sometimes his feuds with fellow rappers. Tupac is known for the political, economic, and racial equality messages in a lot of his work. He has been ranked by many fans, critics, and industry insiders as the greatest rapper ever.

I have attached sources for your reference.

Regards

Lyrically BIG had an advantage, his flow was sick, almost like he was singing. As far as Tupac goes, his lyrics were heartfelt, you can actually feel the emotion in his songs, from songs like Hit 'em Up, where he was at his most thuggish, to dear mama and unconditional love. He was trying to get the message across that minorities need to learn other things other than sellin dope and banging. The line between his art and real life was blurred so much that he got caught up in what he was trying to denounce. Ultimately, this took his life. Tupac was better in the fact that he could give you a song like Keep your Head up and show his sensitive side, a song like Against all odds show his ruthless side, and still put out club hits like calironia love. All while puttin out the 1st double disc ever in hip hop, and being the #1 in sales of all time ( in hip hop ). So id give it to tupac overall

well right now, tupac is the only one still releasing albums (because we all know he's still alive and hanging out with elvis).

but their styles were so different, can't we just accept two strong but different artists?
