Amazon is a well established online store. You can safely buy from them

yes it is. but if you buy from the amazon marketplace instead of directly from amazon make sure the seller has a good rating. whenever i buy stuff from amazon i usually get it in like 2-3 days in the mail.

In terms of card fraud, it's a safe as any online store which are pretty much as safe as "real" stores. You should always check your card statements and query any you don't recognise anyway, regardless of who you're shopping with.

The only warning of amazon I've found, with .co.uk anyway, they list items as "available within 2-4days" - that means they don't have any in stock and they are shipped direct from their supplier. Quite often I have found that after ordering such items it changes to "dispatch in 1-2 weeks" and then it goes longer.
