NO the U.S. should get out and get out quick.. the u.n. is united only in the sense that it is united against the United States. it is one more hell of a folly. such a waste of time and money. we dont need the u.n. Think of all the money we could save that would benefit the american people. let's take care of america before we squander our resources on an unappreciative world. what a big fat crock of bull .

Stay? The U.N. is the only thing that slowed down W's occupation of Iraq and the war against the American people. Without that occupation wire-tapping, pro-torture laws, circumventing of U.S. citizens inalienable Habeus Corpas rights, would have never been attackable. The U.N. represents the world interest and not the Neo-con nutjob dominance philosophy being shove down our throats on a daily basis. Our inclusion to the U.N. is the way our country stays "conscious" or world views.

Yes, this we are the police of the world attitude the US has been playing at leas since Reagan has not only already had its severe consequences (9/11, Al Queida, Iraq). For those who say we should leave the UN, they rarely give a valid reason why. Because its corrupt? If its corrupt, then fix it! Walking away just proves that we do not care what the rest of the world things, and it does matter whether we like it or not.

The UN is as useless as underwear for fish. We should remove the UN to the place where it can do the most good; Central Africa. Place it in Nairobi and let them deal with the problems they want us to contend with. See how far their diplomatic immunity will take them "in the bush."
The US should get out of the UN, turn the building over to "The Donald" and use the profits to reduce the national deficit.

the UN is a joke. what have they really accomplished. They have meetings in fields w/ pink flowers and butterflies, hold hands around a camp fire and sing kumbiya...lol! and talk to other countries about peace, and these other countries just nod and pour sunshine up their @$$e$. The US should be independent like we have been in the past.. Maybe we'll set a trend and other countries will be independant...

Of course! The USA was one of the three founders of the UN with England and Russia. The main building of the UN is in New York.

no the corruption and ill will of the UN has damaged it's creditability For God's sake They can't even enforce their on resolutions with help from the US

no cause the un is hell bent on destroying our constitution ,our way of life . The U. n. makes me sick. Oh yeah and where was the un when we were going after Hussein ? No where . They keep telling us how bad we are then why the hell are they on us soil then ? Would someone please explain that one .
