I'm a Cancer and my husband is a Scorpio; we've been married 23 years this Christmas. We've had some rough times, but we are committed to our marriage and so we work at it; not that it's all work mind you.

Too hard to say based just on Sun signs. My partner and I are of signs that do not traditionally match but we've been together 15 years and looks like we are over the worst of things. Try a more complete analysis by using the actual birth date. The one at cafeastrology was very accurate for us. It's free.

I wouldn't think so. Cancers are homebodys and introverted artists. Scorpios like to get out and do alot of stuff. I would think they would get bored with a cancer or they would end up bossing the cancer around just because they could. They're usually both artistic though so that might be enough of a common ground. Its also possible for a scorpio to be introverted, its just not very common.

Water signs get along fairly well.
He may have mental details that will drive you nuts tho.
The one to really watch out for is the Virgo.
I don't know exactly what it is, but ever Virgo I have met has attracted me (also a Scorp) beyond any issues of gender, age, intelligence, etc.

this one I don't have to even look up.......my sister is Cancer and her husband is Scorpio.....they fight constantly, they both want to be in charge, they are both self involved..... its a nightmare to be around them!
