it's a good thing. A cap means a limit. meaning.. if they had a 1000 mile limit, that THAT is ALL you can earn. After that, you can still use your card, but it doesn't earn you anything.
NO cap, means that for every use, you can KEEP earning and earning for as long as you keep using the card! Congrats if you can get it!

it means there is no limit or restriction on the number of miles you can earn. ("cap" meaning to put a lid on something, like putting a cap/hat on your head).
some other credit cards may say that you can only earn up to 10,000 miles in a year or similar restrictions.

It means that there is no maximum limit to how many miles you can earn.
Some credit cards may sayu soemthing like that you get one mile for every dollar you spend, up to $10,000. That means you cna't earn more than 10,000 miles. "No Cap" means you can earn however many miles you want.

It means you can collect an infinite amount of miles. IF there was a cap then you could accumulate miles up until that number.

No limit. Some frequent flyer plans have a limit, others do not. You can accrue an unlimited amount of miles.
