I assume you mean a lighted warning of some kind that comes on with the key? If so, and it goes off, it's just the self check circuit and normal. If it is on all the time, there could be a problem. It is probably a problem in the SRS system (Supplemental Restraint System, or air bag check out circuit.) If you are in an accident with the SRS not working as it should, the air bag may not go off.

Best advice, take it in the your favorite mechanic and have it checked and fixed.
